Hello, my name is Silas Robichaud and I am the primary artist and craftsman here at True Alaska Furniture.

Fine woodworking has been a hobby of mine starting when I was a small boy. I learned many of my skills from my father who is an incredible craftsman, and was a top notch finish carpenter by trade. I have a real passion for what I do and take pride in every piece that I build, making each one unique and special in its own way. I truly love the feeling that I get when I see the excitement and appreciation in the clients that I am working with. It is amazing how a new piece of furniture can bring a feeling of warmth into a home.

We are a family owned and operated business. We love the outdoors, which is what brought us to Alaska 15 years ago. We worked and lived in Alaska seasonally, until just a few years ago. Living in Alaska during the warmer months and a quiet little town in Mexico during the colder months. We love to Travel, but with our children getting older we were no longer able to get away for such extended periods of time , which is why we decided to create True Alaska Furniture. We are 100 percent dedicated to providing you with a wonderful experience from the beginning design to the final installation, delivery, or pick up of your new furniture.
